Mental health and well-being Trainging for farmers

Supporting farmers’ mental health and well-being

Taproots are nature’s anchors. They root deep into the soil to draw up vital nutrients and water, nurturing plant stability and growth, even in the harshest conditions.

The TapRoot program is inspired by this resilience. It is designed specifically to help farmers to counteract the effects of stress, including thoughts of suicide.

Why Choose Taproot

Every participant will leave this program with a deeper understanding of how to use their own Taproot to create a safety plan for suicide prevention.

This information and resources are important in farming communities where professional support is limited, stress is high, and time constraints make access to support difficult. TapRoot will teach you how to dig deep within yourself to find resources close at hand.

TapRoot is more than a program – it’s a philosophy. It celebrates individual needs, expertise, and empowerment, while highlighting the invaluable role of community support in fostering lasting wellbeing.

How Is The Taproot Program Delivered?

This training can be delivered virtually, or in person. We aim to meet a variety of learning styles by taking a storytelling approach, using interactive activities for a transformative training experience, and focusing solely on the agriculture community.
